Shakespearience provides an intimate setting for theatre, events, conferences, parties, private functions and banquets. The main auditorium has been authentically timbered to create an Elizabethan playhouse in a style similar to that of Shakespeare's famous Globe Theatre. The flexibility of the space allows for versatile unreserved seating arrangements, offering the audience a unique perspective for each production/event - whether 'cabaret style', 'in the round' or even 'back to front' with the audience seated on the stage! In addition to the performing and rehearsal spaces, Shakespearience has three dressing rooms (including one dressing room with shower & wc suitable for disabled users).

Our licensed bar is open to the public throughout the day and into the late evening. Found on the top floor, it’s the best place to meet friends and enjoy coffee or tea, fine wines, champagne, beers and hot snacks.

The Elizabethan style playhouse is a flexible space which seats up to 180 in a varierty of configurations. The stage area can be expanded to include a variable sized thrust stage; podiums and rostra. The auditorium offers flexible and efficient sound and lighting systems. Please see the Technical Specifications for further information. Due to the daytime activities of Shakespearience, the theatre auditorium is usually available for rental during the evenings only. SPACE RENTAL - FLEXIBLE FUNCTION ROOM (ACT 1)	Back to Top

SPACE RENTAL - REHEARSAL ROOM	Back to Top
The Rehearsal Room is 12m x 4.3m and suitable for groups of up to 25. The Rehearsal Room is available for rental throughout the day and during the evenings, subject to availability.
