The Waterside Theatre, home to Shakespearience, is an independent theatre that opened in December 2004 in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon.

Since opening we have welcomed a large number of visiting theatre companies, musical productions and stand up comedians.

The theatre has been built in the style of a traditional Elizabethan playhouse and is authentically timbered to create a beautifully intimate atmosphere. Despite it's historical appearence, the space is very modern with a vast selection of technical capabilities, allowing us to a stage dynamic visual productions.
